The container Project

This project explores the design of a custom container created to house and honor a meaningful family heirloom: a pen adorned with a gemstone, gifted to me by my father as a going-away present for college. The challenge was to craft a vessel that not only protects the pen, but also celebrates its sentimental value. My design serves a dual purpose—functioning as both a display piece and a practical case that allows the pen to be accessed and used. The container highlights the pen’s elegance while emphasizing the emotional significance it carries, blending utility with personal narrative and thoughtful craftsmanship.
