The Pavilion of Fellowship

I was tasked to draw design inspiration from the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Project and incorporate its design ethos into a non-literal outdoor pavilion behind the Washington Monument. My task was to choose a cultural ritual aligned with the Memorial's essence. I opted for The Day of The Dead, finding its core concepts essential in shaping both the program and physical aesthetics of my design.
